April 4, 2024 Shop Meet

The tech session was hosted by Bill Young at his home garage beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The weather cooperated and we had a good turn out of cars.

    >

First car on the lift Erling Onsager's 1960 3000 BT7 to diagnose a sticking throttle.

Next we installed new brake shims to correct some squealing brakes on Bob Pippin's car.

After installing the shims, Ben Procter's car went up on the rack to look for leaks.
We found brake fluid leaking from a rear wheel !

Followed by some talk about balancing  wheels

Then the club provided lunch for members who gathered alongside the Young’s swimming pool to eat
